Cheapskater Privacy Policy Effective date: 15 October 2026 Cheapskater is made by FTECH L.L.C ("we", "us"). This policy explains what Cheapskater does with information on your device, and what leaves it. The short version: we collect nothing about you and have no accounts, no analytics and no servers that receive your data. Users who have not purchased the pro version of this application are shown ads served by Google, which is described in section 4. 1. Information we collect We do not collect, store or receive any personal information from Cheapskater. There is no sign-up, no email address and no usage analytics. 2. Your comparisons and settings Prices you compare and save, your favorites and your preferences are stored on your device. If your device is signed in to iCloud, they are also stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit so they are available on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data is only accessible to your Apple Account. We cannot read it. You can delete saved comparisons inside the app, which removes them from every device. Signing out of iCloud, or turning off iCloud for Cheapskater in Settings, stops syncing. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. 3. Cheapskater Says Commentary on your comparisons is generated on your device using Apple's on-device language models, or from built-in templates on devices that don't support them. Your price checks are not sent to us or to any third party to produce it. 4. Advertising The free version of Cheapskater shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. This is collected and processed by Google under Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy), not by us. We never receive it in a form that identifies you. Where the law requires it, such as in the EEA and UK, Cheapskater asks for your consent before ads are requested, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time from the More view in-app, then 'Ad Privacy Choices'. Ads are not shown once you unlock Pro and nothing is then collected by Google. 5. In-app purchases Cheapskater Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the App Store. We receive no payment details, name or email address. Apple provides us only with aggregate, anonymized sales reporting. Purchase status is checked on your device against the App Store, and refunds are handled by Apple. 6. Children Cheapskater is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. 7. Your rights We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Your comparisons and settings are on your devices and in your own iCloud account, under your control. For data related to ads, see Google's privacy policy linked in section 4. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond. 8. Changes to this policy If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at this address. A change that affects what data leaves your device will also be described in the app's release notes. 9. Contact FTECH L.L.C support@ftech-llc.org ftech-llc.org
